The Truth about Dragons

We know so little, scientifically, about the psyche, that we cannot be scientifically sure. But the number of us suffering from what we call depression and anxiety disorders seems to be growing by pole vaults and broad jumps year by year.

If there is anything else we can try, surely we should try it.

And there is. Something that costs nothing. Lying there in plain sight, yet unnoticed, is an ancient remedy for all such spiritual suffering; forgotten and overgrown with brambles because of our current scientific and materialist focus.

There is actually good scientific evidence that it works far better than pills or talking things through with a therapist.

Nor need this be an “either-or” affair. We need no fallacies here of the false alternative. It is entirely possible to do this while also taking pills and seeing your analyst.

And it is far from being depressing.

The theory is laid out in full in the book The Truth about Dragons. Reading this may be enough for many to find their own path.

The Book of Consolation is pending as our manual of practice. Some may want to cut immediately to this chase.

The basic concept is childishly simple. The hero legends and the fairy tales are in reality prescriptions for defeating depression and anxiety. A careful reading reveals an analysis of the problem and a definite and time-tested path to make things better.

Of course, on this quest, you will need to fight dragons. Not to mention lions, sirens, and cannibal giants.

But your reward could be the Holy Grail.

Dragons beware!
